Bob Miller is a publishing veteran known for starting and running Hyperion Books for 18 years, where he published hundreds of bestselling books by such authors as Caroline Kennedy, David Halberstam, Candace Bushnell, Michael J. Fox, Jamie Oliver, Nigella Lawson, and Randy Pausch.
More recently, Miller was the founder of Flatiron Books for Macmillan, where he published 94 New York Times bestsellers (19 of which debuted at #1), including books by Oprah Winfrey, President Joe Biden, James Comey, Brad Meltzer, Melinda French Gates, Dr. Michael Greger, Glennon Doyle, S. A. Cosby, Leigh Bardugo, and Liane Moriarty. Following his 11 years as publisher of Flatiron, he became CEO of Phaidon Press.
Before starting Hyperion, Miller began his career as an editor at St. Martin's Press, moving to Warner Books as senior editor, and then to Delacorte Press as editorial director. He also created HarperStudio, an experimental start-up for HarperCollins, and spent three years as publisher at Workman before starting Flatiron Books.
